PostgreSQL 13 single-instance cluster. PGDATA lives at /home/container/postgres_db so it backs up with the volume. PGPASSWORD is mandatory on first start; remote auth uses md5. Set PGUSER and PGPASSWORD before the first launch — they cannot be changed without reinitialising the cluster.
